Dangerous and Potentially Dangerous Dog Ordinance
Simpson County Solid Waste management has determined a route change is in order to improve pick up times & fuel efficiency. The routes that are normally picked up on Monday for St. John’s Rd., Gus Phillips Rd., Franklin Rd., Gardner Ray Rd. and Cox Rd. will now be picked up on Tuesdays. We ask that you have all trash in bags and out by 6 AM. This change will begin June 6th, 2022

ORDER APPROVING CHANGE IN POLLING
PLACE FOR MAGEE 4 NORTH VOTING PRECINCT
There came on for consideration this day the matter concerning the current site of the Magee 4 North Polling Place located at the Magee City Hall (Police Station) in the City of Magee, Mississippi, and the Board finds that the City of Magee has requested by Letter dated December 13, 2021, that the polling place be moved to the Magee Civic Center as the polling place for this precinct for safety reasons. The Board finds that the Magee Civic Center has favorable accessibility and accommodations for the voters in this precinct. The Board finds that it is in the best interests of the citizens of this voting precinct to move the polling place from the Magee City Hall (Police Station) to the Magee Civic Center in the City of Magee, Mississippi.
After discussion, Supervisor Welch moved for the adoption of the following Order:
BE IT ORDERED that the polling place for the Magee 4 North voting precinct shall be moved from the Magee City Hall (Police Station) location in the City of Magee to the Magee Civic Center and the Board of Supervisors shall publish notice of such change in polling place location in the Magee Courier for three weeks with such notice to be published more than sixty days prior to the next primary elections.
BE IT FUTHER ORDERED that a copy of this Order be provided to the Simpson County Election Commission, the local executive committees of the Republican and Democratic parties and to the Mayor/Board of Alderman of the City of Magee.
Supervisor Craft seconded the motion for adoption of the foregoing Order, and after discussion thereof, the following vote was taken by the members of the Board of Supervisors:

Danny Craft voting Aye
Brian Kennedy voting Aye
Donny Welch voting Aye
Randy Moore voting Aye
The foregoing Order having received the unanimous vote of all members of the Board of Supervisors of Simpson County, the same was duly adopted and enacted on this the 16th day of December, 2021.
