MARRIAGE AND DIVORCE RECORDS
How do I obtain a marriage license?
There is a $37.00 fee.
- Age requirement – 21 years of age.
- If under 21 years of age, a parent or legal guardian is required, along with a birth certificate or legal guardianship documents.
- If previously married, a copy of the divorce decree and/or death certificate is required.
- Photo Identification is required for all parties.
- In the “Forms Download” tab, please complete the MARRIAGE LICENSE INFORMATION FORM and bring to the Circuit Clerk’s Office. (these forms are also located at the Circuit Clerk’s Office)
- Certified Copies of marriage license – $17.00
- NOTE: Marriage ceremonies are NOT arranged by the Circuit Clerk’s Office.
