Notice: Simpson County Community Development Department
Effective immediately, the Simpson County Community Development Department is accepting permit applications for all contractors operating in Simpson County, Mississippi. A permit should be filed within our office for all general contractors, HVAC installers, electricians, and plumbers who wish to operate in Simpson County, Mississippi. This permit should be renewed annually.
Additionally, building permits will be required for all new commercial and residential buildings or remodeling projects. Questions can be directed to our office.
Manufactured Homes will also require a permit to be filed with our office. Manufactured homes intended to be placed within the county should meet all criteria and have permit filed before the home is moved onto the property.
